Banteay Srei

Banteay Srei — "citadel of the women" or "citadel of beauty" — is generally taken to refer to the intricacy of the carving and the tiny dimensions of the architecture. Some even believe it was women who did the carvings at this site, since the fine detail would not have been able to be done with a man size hand.
