A nice diversion from the temples, Regina and I took a free tour of the silk farm outside of Siem Reap. Not only did we get to see how this exquisite material is hand-made we also talked to a number of young women who had just graduated or were still attending medical school. Two were from the States and one was from France. We also talked with a young teacher from Seattle, Washington who was on her first visit to Asia.
