National Museum


Regina and I did the Hop on Hop off bus the first day we were here.  One stop was the National Museum. It offers a rich look at Malaysian history, and Regina felt it represented the history of the entire area (including Indonesia).


Above is a handwritten Quran from Malaysia


A handkerchief like this one  on the left was part of the wedding costume worn by a Chinese bride.  The handkerchief was attached by a ring at the top and suspended from the bride's finger.  It is metal-bead embroidery on velvet.

Below is a Rolls Royce used when the British ruled Malaysia.
